The view is fantastic and access to the swimming pool quite nice even if to keep your privacy you have to draw the curtains. For the rest, the furniture are old and damaged, do not expect any newspapers (we have been told the Hotel has only a few for VIP, which I suppose we were not) or perfume oil in the bathroom despite the presence of the small elephant for this purpose (we have been told that hotel used to provide oil and candle but they are currently saving money on this). The pool is good but furniture half-broken. Forget the resort restaurants. Access to town (Patong beach) can easily be done by foot. <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
booking service made checking in so easy & quick, October 12, 2007 by katarena & Max Visit Date:September 22, 2007 "The gardens & view from the pool areas & our room were beautiful however the rest of the stay here was dissapointing. The rooms were just not clean enough eg; old stains on tired sheets, little holes in pillow cases & used soap in the bathroom, I was finally given a new soap on the day we left. I made mention at the front desk but the standard did not improve. 1/2 hr wait at the pool bar for a couple of drinks (we were the only customers at the time). The limited shuttle service into Patong is too infrequent, it s a decent 30 min walk. Did not meet my expectations :( <span style="display:none">[R24 integr.ERR:escaping]</span>" |
